Paying traffic fines in Delhi is about to get much simpler, similar to the ease of online shopping.

The transport department is developing a system Mobile Application Development in Chandigarh where automated notifications will be sent to violators via SMS and WhatsApp, detailing the violation and payment process.

“The moment one clicks on the payment option on WhatsApp, they would be directed to a payment gateway with multiple options, including Bhim UPI,” a senior official stated. The department recently presented this plan to WhatsApp officials.
